 Well - its 30 minutes before rollover and I am sitting on a 6.40. Made it as high as 6.5 I think mid week. Dont think this stands a chance at ribboning but surely a top 10.

The title came well after the shoot. Wasnt thinking about the tooth fairy til after I had the initial edit posted. It seemed to make sense. But of course Aidan isnt even 5 yet and hasnt lost any teeth so showing the missing one would have been tough. Though afterwards Aimee said she could have blackened one out for me. Oh well. Cant complain about the score or the 26 comments so far. Thank you all!

I noticed that your current listing of challenges (most recent 10) shows lots and lots of stars. I never even looked at the results of this challenge so didn't realize you'd finished this high - congrats! Nice work with the 50mm.

For this guy that's a lot of wealth. There's something I like about the contrast of JFK in focus in the foreground with unfocused wealth of promise in the back. We all start that way. Some of us make it to the foreground. Bumping this up a point as I comment. My personal pick for the blue.

This is a great concept! Wonderfully executed - I can see just enough emotion in the child's face. Good to know the kids are still getting coins from the tooth fairy :) and it's nice to see a photo telling a story.

Funny, That's about the photo I had in mind for the challenge. Only my boy is too young to cooperate enough! Good lighting, simple and nice idea. I just wonder if the DOF effect is not a little too pronounced.

Could just be holding a dime. Would have been more powerful with a missing tooth. If a molar, I understand. Seems a touch out of focus on the dime.

Great shot! I love the use of DOF, coin in clear focus, while the out of focus boy is still recognizable. One of my favs.
