Hello from the Critique Club,
First let me congratulate you a new personal best score. I know you were probably hoping for a little higher but your score indicates that the image was technically strong and meet the challenge description. Where the image falls short is in the DPC "Wow" factor. Nearly 40% of your votes were 5's. That to me suggests that the voters looked for literally 2-3 seconds and concluded, "this picture isn't bad, so I can't give 4 or less, but it doesn't do that much for me so I can't give 6 or more".
You did a nice job trying to eliminate distractions in this image. However, the cars visible on both sides of the Shelby indicate that your image was taken at a car show of some sort. This gives the image a walk-by-shooting look that lacks the creativity that the DPC voters look for.
Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions regarding this critique.
Tim

Nice perspective. I know Shelbys typically are blue but I think a change to red or another color would help contrast it with the sky. |

Too bad the other cars are in the photo. I would have thought the car would be gleaming more. |
