I don't know who these people are but as I watched them, they just seemed to be the "perfect" family. To me the photo is a trip back in time. I am sure it will not score well, but I really like it.

Terry, I think you did a great job of recreating the old instamatic camera feel to this shot. Good job.

This is a cute image. I did not care for the color so much. This did not hold my attention.

Sweet shot of a family relaxing.

I must admit I can spend hours at a duck pond myself feeding the wildlife :- )

There's a couple of little details here that could help improve the shot, one is to widen the crop slightly to include the ladies shoulder, and the other is to rotate the picture slightly, it looks to me like the lines all lean down to the left. otherwise very relaxing.

There's something...."sweet and homey" about your image. In some ways it makes me think of Norman Rockwell illustrations.

it looks like a nice spot. imo the picture isn't doing it for me. there is no interaction with the people. a side shot might have done it with the family on the one side and the water on the other.

This looks like a perfect day and a clear concise photo.

Looks like a capture of a special family moment. Unfortunately for me not seeing their faces seems impersonal or lacking in intamacy. I guess it just doesn't speak to me.

Looks like a fine family outing. Unfortunately I am let down by the technicals of the photo. It looks tilted. Not sure what processing you used but I can see halos around the people and that does not add to the photo. The woman's arm is cut off and that makes for a lopsided composition. A little more time spent on composing this shot would have made it look better and not so much like a snapshot.

Looks like you have a little tonemap halo action going on here. Not a horrible shot but doesnt really carry any wow power either.
