 I had this idea so I found chattering teeth at Spencers and then had a heck of a time getting it all together but I think this worked. If nothing else, it might make a few people laugh. ;~D

Lucis filter (4th exposure at 21%)
Deepen window brightness with soft paintbrush - black (22%)
Duplicate layer - gaussian blur in soft light mode, 55%
Sharpen
Sharpen tool
Save for web

Thanks to those who got it. At least a few smiles were created by that shot, so I don't really care that my score wasn't as high as I'd have liked. ;~D

I remember this during the challenge - i thought it was such a funny bizarre pic. I see the teeth but I have to say, my initial thought was what a lovely dining room you must have lol.

truly unique! The kids my wife is babysitting had to run in and see what I was laughing at.

A truly beautiful and grossly underated image. I for one really liked this image and gave it a 9, and still think you were robbed.

To me, this was the epitome of the challenge: you have a lovely still life all on its own, and then you added some motion. In my case, you definitely scored a laugh. :)

The glass bottle appears very sharp while the leaves in it seem different and indistinct to me. I also find the scene outside the window to be drawing my attention away from the real subject. The chattering teeth are an unexpected bit of whimsy in a tabletop still life like this. Nice touch.

I like the arrangement and the mood you created but the toy kind of ruins it a little for me. I understand why it's there but if it could have somehow been used in a way that didn't say this is a toy it would have worked better if that makes sense. Perhaps a color shift would have broken that toy perception? Just a thought.

One of the weirdest pics I have seen on DPC, but all the better for it. Some may say that there is no context between the teeth and the flowers but I say, who cares. Very fun way to meet the challenge and very well executed 8

Creative, funny and the overall scene is very pleasant to look at. Really poor focus though (not the teeth) which keeps this shot from looking as good as it could (and should).
