A very clever idea for the challenge. I think a simpler flower arrangement would have looked better as its a bit busy and a touch better focusing on them ... but do you know what I think would have looked really cool being that its water in a glass and water in a stream - a fish in the glass. Probably wouldn't have been still life then but I think it would make an interesting shot.

I liked this. I guess it's too artsy for the DPC crowd. |

Some selective sharpening on the flowers/stemware would have put this image on the first page. Well planned. |

Nice idea here and the blending has worked out well for the artist, I do think however that some realism needs to be followed. There is lots of detail in the flowers |

I have mixed feelings about this shot. On the one hand the lower half of the shot is artistic and brings all the elements together into a harmony, which to me meets the challenge beautifully. On the other hand, the top makes it look like a shoehorn attempt to get a waterfall shot included in a still life challenge. Can I fav half of the photo? :)
Just my opnion of course so just take it as that. Good luck. |

An excellent idea! It would work better if the flowers and glass were a bit sharper, but still gets a 6 from me. |

The water seems a bit too soft for the movement IMO. I am amazed at the emotional pull between the fall setting and the flowers. Almost like not wanting to let go of summer. |

Was the water vibrating your glass just a bit? The focus or sharpness of the flowers is just a bit off. 6 |

Nice idea...but, the subject is soft and the horizon is off. |
