True emotive, and really captures the feeling of letting go for me. I really like the use of b/w also. Nice job! :-) |

Boy, very interesting. A lot to look at. Holds my interests well. Sun on horizon. Footsteps in the snow. Bowed head and bouquet. Tree silhouettes. Overall background excellent. |

Like the concept, would like to see more tonal range. |

Content is excellent, I think the composition is not as strong as it might be, for me. |

This is my favorite of the challenge and the only 10 I gave. Not only do I like the interpretation of the challenge theme, but there are little details all over the place that involve my mind and imagination. The mournful posture of the man and upside down flower bouquet barely being contained in his loose grip...resignation to his loss. The depth of the footprints...neither cold nor snow could keep him away. The irregular rows of tombstones and the array of trees in the background emphasizing the clearing in which this man's beloved's grave sits...somewhat apart from the others. The lack of color. The contrast between black and white. The sun fighting to be seen through the grey sky and leafless branches...hope? Yeah. I like this one a lot. |

Really nice all the way around - composition, exposure (especially with setting sun in background) and concept. |

i like the nice little subtle touches, the flowers held down footprints in the deep snow..maybe you should have had the sun behind you though.. |

Gave lots of thought to doing a shot like this, and I see others did too - but this one is nice. I like the tone, the composition (like the sun peeking through the trees), and it fits the challenge well. I even like the Title. |

not bad, but my eye is distracted by the graveston - there is no person on it, just a family name. so it appears to me that he is looking at an empty grave...sorry, but that is my first impression |

Tells the story. I suggest cropping the left to give more attention to your subjects. |
