A sweet image of two brothers/ friends. I like that they are walking away from us down the path - their anonymity makes the image more universal in appeal/ story. The framing of the foliage on fully three sides really makes the forest / park seem to envelop them. The path, and the way it goes from widest at the lower edge of the frame, to narrow and disappearing around a corner further back, is inviting. I find that bird feeder (assuming that's what it is) at top right distracting and would clone it out in a non-challenge-entry version of the image. Likewise the slightly-too-strong vertical of dried branch to the right of the boys. |

Great idea. Whilst the shallow depth of field creats the impression of fading into the unknown, I find it slightly distracting on the bushes in the background |

Man - I am a sucker for these type shots. Excellent image. Glad the colors arent oversaturated. Has a cool afternoon feel to it. Great DOF as well. I hope this is scoring well for you. Bumping up to 9. |

Very nice image, great composition and colors. I think it would be even better if taken with a wider angle lens, I suspect you used 35mm or larger here. I think a shorter focal lenght would have increased the perspective and would have added drama by making the roal appear much longer and the end of the road much further away. |

This is one of those photos that warms the heart (being a dad anyway). Well captured in all of the technical details and composition. The 'S' is a tad short (funny how the eyes complete what's not there) but I'm not holding that against you (much) - gave this an 8 initially and coming back around for comments. |
