Great idea, nice shot, interesting contrast in colors. Great sense of motion in the hammer. A little more light on the camera to make it stand out from the background would have been interesting.

You've got a very cool sense of motion and "impending doom", but it feels like the photo is lacking in vibrance. The composition is pretty straight on and nothing (other than the hammer) pops out at the viewer. Maybe white posterboard for the mat instead of cloth? *shrug* There's a lot to play with.

The black background doesn't help, as it made the camera harder to recognize. The idea is great and I laughed.

too dark - the towel is nicely exposed, but i lose the flash unit into the background and when trying to see more i finally say the hammer!

Why did you use white and black? Think the lighting could have been better thougt out.
