Such restraint ("radical negligence of what is expected" ?). Great assemblage of colours, tones and textures.

Cool shot Lisa. I dont know why but in a way it made me think of a prison cell (not that I would know what a prison cell looked like obviously) with the flower and vase representing the fact that things of beauty can be found everywhere

Oh this is cool, with great potential... I think that if you had pplace the table in front of or closer to the window so that was part of the composition would've been stunning... I can't vote but good luck =)

If there ever was a still life filled with life and (e)motion this is it. I like how the curtain's motion doesn't overpower the subject but rather adds to it like a chapter in a story.

I wish the moving curtain was shown more in the photo; as it is, it is very hard to spot. But I really love this concept, and your colors are great.

This is really lovely. Nice colors, composition, and very nice subtle lighting. I'm not sure the moving curtain really adds anything to the composition, other than making the image meet the challenge. But the main part of the image is great.

good idea, well executed. like the rough textures and muted colors of wall and table versus the delicate pink branch and the curtain with a matching decor. a tad too dark overall
