Rating photographs is very subjective, but I respectfully disagree with the majority on this fine image.
Composition is great and lighting very good. The image has interest by focusing on the frisbee and the technical quality is high.
This is a top three caliber shot. It will be recognized as an outstanding image long after this challenge and score are forgotten. |

(+) Very good use of DOF, subject fits theme well. Cropping well done.
(-) White diagonal band at waist is distracting and leads the eye away from the foreground object |

I like the depth, would have liked a different colour shirt for contrast

Very interesting shot.... Not sure how I would have felt about a disk flying towards me and my camera. Nice. |

This had to be hard to pull off. The "problem" with this image, for me, is that too much of it has to be out of focus. Technically it's wonderful, but visually it's hard to keep looking at it. |

This is fantastic - doesn't evoke the sentiment strongly - it's rather a literal interpretation for my liking - but the image itself is just excellent. I love that approach of focusing on the frisbee and having the young guy out of focus. This would have been great in shallow DOF too! Great use of composition, colour and DOF. |

Brilliant! You could have used this one for this challenge or for the "Depth of Field" - great shot. 9 |

This is good, but the only reason it lacks a bit of "wow" factor is that it seems like the photographer is just holding the frisbee out in front of the camera. I'd want to see the whole frisbee, but that would be harder to do. |

I think this would have worked better if you could have shown some motion blur on the frisbee. |

Cool and innovative. Hope the camera didn't get too bruised. |

A little more depth of field would have made this a very good shot |

Really like this shot for the challenge. I might have preferred the frisbee at a different angle, but this one is good too. |

Cool interpretation and great use of DOF, just wish more of frisbee was in the frame. |

Great shot and DOF. Is the frisbee really moving, though? It almost looks like it's attached to something. Regardless, nice affect. |
