| I love the "fade to white" aspect of the back petals. Soft suits this perfectly, and the pastel yet warm colors work very well. |

I keep coming back to this photo. I just love it. It's not your basic humdrum floral photography... it's awesome. Probably the lighting that does it for me. And it also helps the softness, since the image is overall fairly in focus. The feel is still there.
Nice, simple border works well. Wouldn't change this in the slightest. |

| An excellent flower study, that I would have rated a 9 (not 10 for the too bold border) under any other circumstances; superb DOF and tones, petals don't blend with the bright, clear background; interesting crop taht creates a nice gradient from bottom right to top left. Unfortunately the whole picture is too crisp to meet the challenge. My lower vote shouldn't hurt your score, though, as we all know the majority of voters doesn't care for the challenge topic - good luck! Added to favs. |
