 These horses (and a mule it looks like) somehow reminded me of an old war movie or the series Band of Brothers - all wounded and huddled up together in the field.

This picture was taken on a very hazy morning, plus it was taken at 200mm and cropped in about 50%, so the image was coming out a little flat and rather dull. I played around in CS3 and rendered the 2 O'Clock Spot Lighting effect as well as the Flare filter to give some depth and shadows to the image.

Wow, I really like the tones you choose, it definitely makes you think of an old country western movie. I really like the composition, lighting, everything, very nice!

Hmmm. I was getting ready to say I love the way you work with light. This image is a very nice study in natural light...or so it seems. Not familiar with the filters you mention and the spot lighting effect, so I can't really know what's real, and what's photoshop. ???

Don't take that the wrong way. I really like the end result you have here. I'm just naturally curious about stuff sometimes. :)

I like the haze. Nice cropping of the image. The tones give it an old vintage feeling. Great job.

Do you know why they wear blinders in the field? I see it and wonder.

I love this shot and get a relaxed feel from it. You have done a great job of bringing your "little flat and rather dull" image to life.

I wish I had CS3 to play around with and breath life into my shots like that, then I might just break 5.5 someday,someday,someday....zzzzz
