Photographed in our home in Apache Junction. If only Scooter-kitty (Scout) would have kept her eyes shut...
Experimenting with my 50mm 1.8. I love the sharpness, so this was a challenge to take a photo with softer focus. I didn't apply any blur or filters after-the-fact. I doubt this will stand up to the more post-processed images, but we'll see...
Shot handheld, 50mm 1.8 lens.
Still learning my post processing in LR, but I'm happy with this. I much prefer sharp/crisp images, but I hope this is "soft" enough to meet the challenge. I think the conversion to black and white adds some personality.

| Looking at your comments, weren't you correcting a naturally occurring vignetting in the lens in RAW, rather than creating a vignette? |
