 used a nylon stocking over the lens,
a very old one.

(slow shutter speed)

it came out a bit light so i burned the
shadows

I love this nylon stocking soft focus trick - the monotone subject and texture is great, digital fake film edge frames for the most part just plain bug me.
my own best results in the past have come from old black pantyhose (less likely to pickup any cross light haze or coloration) stretched very tight and glued or screwed to empty filter ring, w/lens shade if it can be engineered.

This is straight out of an old European movie and creepy as hell I might add. I keep waiting to see a pale young girl in a white gown go floating across the photo.
