| This looks more like soft focus, rather than a shallow DOF, IMHO. A shallow DOF is supposed to bring your subject out from it's surrondings. With this soft focus, the subject is almost blended into the surrondings. |

| She's a cutie! Your depth of field here is displaced, perhaps by soft focus? Anyway, I really like her expression, those pretty blue eyes, and the lovely, Swedish teeth. Nice composition, nice photo! |

| Is this a filtered 'soft focus' ? Parts of the picture them seem to be at the same depth are not in the same sharp focus? What lens & focal length did you use? |

This is a nice portrait shot, but I think you may have gotten Soft Focus and Shallow DOF mixed up...

| Very Nice shot. This looks like it was done using a softening filter or vignette filter rather than by using DOF as the challenge states. |
