 love the bridge :)
The strange moon is from being stopped down to f10 and and being in the top corner at 10 mm to make it distort I think. Editing was pretty basic except I cloned out some shrubs. Don't know if it will fit with everyone's vision, but when I think of bridges I think of this and it is a beautiful blend of suspension bridge technology and natural environment. Either way I got me an update button to look at. :P

Post challenge: Wow 5th place!! I didn't think this had much of a chance for top ten during the challenge. Sweet, thank you for all the votes and comments. All are appreciated. :)

To get to this spot, you need to go for a little adventure hiking, passed the safety railing and passed the fence and down the hill about 400 yards. There's a little trail. ;-P

The colors here are just rich! the exposure is bright enough for this shot and all your roadway lamps are exposed perfectly. The Crop is different and as tight as it can get for this bridge. Worth climbing the safety rail, photographers must sometimes. Kudos for fitting in the moon without sacrificing to crop bridge. I agree moon is weird and blotchy. Shame they don't put lights on this bridge's horizontal suspension cables, the towers are very defined with all it's little shadows and highlights.

Beautiful image of the bridge Joe! Lighting is great. I was at that same spot last Wednesday. The sky and clouds were gorgeous...I went to take a pic and my batteries died...with no spares in sight :(

cool shot!! I was in san francisco last few days in august...woke up at 6am to get the pics of the bridge, drove up to it at 6pm, waiting till 8pm....one word FOG, FOG, FOG....could barely make out the bridge! :(

so kudos on such a great shot

Lovely colour contrast. The light in the top left dominates the scene a little too much, although it would be hard to get rid of. Nice capture though.

Saturation is pretty high, almost looks like a cartoon bridge, but I like it.

Not sure how you got the perspective like this maybe trying to straight the bridge out. Too far tilted to the left the first column. I know her well.
