| This is great, I love the expression on his face, as if he is in deep concentration, the ability to capture a moment where expression is realistic is a true test of a photographer imo. I love the rose in the background. Good job |

| Nice portrait. Excellent facial details and skin color. The background is just not interesting enough for me, however. |

| If the photo had something with a soft focus in the foreground to indicate a 'Shallow Depth of Field' I would have given it another point. The title fits well though with the flower indicating the limited depth of field. |

| Not sure it would be considered a really shallow DOF shot, but regardless of that, it's a really great shot. |

| Overall nice portrait, might be an improvement if this was more of a frontal shot, but I dunno, could go either way. |
