this really grows on me. It's like an attempt to go back in time, and whether it fails or not is ultimately unimportant.

Looks like a scene from a movie... more over cause this guy makes me think of Al Pacino at least a little bit :o)

this is interesting. this is an image outside of the time and of the space, could be everywhere could be in every moment. very good the black and white, I like the composition with the two men both single ones with their thoughts. great photo. I hope for a good final position. 10

Great expression on the bartender but I would have liked the patron to be more in focus (shorter shutter)

The black and white for this is awesome. Looks like a movie still. The guy at the bar looks like an out of shape Al Pacino. This is cool!

I really like this. Very candid and fun to view for me. I love watching people in their own world. This is great.

Love this, the expression on the bar tender is priceless and the PPing makes it almost cartoon like. Great stuff!

wow ... very cool shot ... really nice job with the b/w conversion also ... I'd love to sit at the bar and spend my afternoon chatting with the two of them ...

I'm not too sure about the crop here. It seems overall a little busy. A nice choice for b&W though.

Nicely captured. I really like the mood of this shot.

The story I see is of a father and son. The dad and original owner of the establishment has passed the torch to his son. In this moment the son is lost in the contemplation of his destiny while the dad is enjoying the simple rewards of his retirement.

Either that or the son is just saying "I can't believe I ate the whole thing".

Nah, I like the first one better

Very nice!

Nice shot. I like the overall capture but wonder how it would be cropping out the gentleman on the right. The bottles and the expression on the bar keep are great by themselves.

What a great capture of daily life. The black & white works really well and I love the expresson on the man's face behind the bar.

Although they are at the same table, they are in totally different worlds. Great dichotomy. Old, younger, action, still, eating, looking... the list is endless.

I like this candid.

Nice candid shot. Looks like a scene from an Al Pacino movie. Not sure I like the chairs in front.

It takes forever for pictures to load for me - so I get to see the tops first, for awhile. Wonder what a Mark A Rita is, and what costs eight bucks. Then the rest comes into play. And what a fun rest of the shot it is.

nice candid scene. with the movie star pictures in the background the left man makes me think he was Al Pacino. Crop at left is a bit tight and lights on the right mans shirt are blown, but that's a minor flaw.

Dude, is that Al Pacino?

He looks bored and distracted by something.

I LOVE the expression in the subject's face and the juxtaposition between the two men. The technical problems of this photo (like the one man's blown-out shirt) are more than compensated for by the real-life interaction and interest. 9.
