 I had to put this one in, I'm always impressed with my little girl when I see her jump fences like this. She's been riding since she was a toddler. I sometimes forget she's only 7. I know this is a noisey photo, the evenings are getting darker here now....I guess this would be a perfect justification for a faster lens. I had a higher aperature so I could get a deeper DOF, those 2.5" screens on the back of the camera just doesn't show the noise enough.

the movement and tension in this shot are amazing. Makes me want to hold my breath until she comes down - she's almost flying off the horse!! Don't worry about noise: years from now, this is not what you will notice when you look at this again. It'll be how much and how fast she's grown...

Great timing on this one. Although it feels a bit sharpish to me, I really love the image as a whole. I think the comp is beautiful.
