first he says that it doesn't give the feeling of a drum jam, then he says the background elements are distracting. the background elements ARE the drum jam!! welcome to DPC. |
I'm more irritated by most of the comments than with any other challenge I've entered on DPC. Looking at the average scores of the commenters is very telling in this case. In any event, this is one my favorite images of the whole year so the inane comments about titles, drums and body parts are ignored. |

Good candid. I like all the implied activity all around him. He seems to be lost in it. |

Nice photo but the Title and Photo don't seem to have any connection. There should at least be a drum in the photo IMHO. |

This isn't focused and I wouldn't knowwhat this was about if not for the title. |

you have done well to isolate this lad in the middle of the crowd, obviously lost in the moment :- ) |

Nice job of drawing the eye to the subject. I like the alone-in-a-crowd sensation. |

Great moment. I wish the two blurry spots (people) were not part of the photo, though. 5. |

You have done a nice job of making the viewer focus on your subject, however I think I would have liked it better if his hands were also in focus. |

I like the collection of various body parts around the subject. Makes for a unique portrait of sorts. Probably not strong enough (no wow factor, emotive factor - the expression is kind of expressionless) for a high score here, but a good shot nonetheless. |
