I got to be one of the "official" photographers for the band OurAfter (//www.myspace.com/ourafter) for their opening for the national act FlyLeaf. This is the lead singer of OurAfter: John "Guido" Phillips.

Good rock and roll shots are hard to capture, and you did a nice job with this. The shadow of the mike is a little unfortunate, but the focus and catchlights in the eyes are great.

I really like this picture - the lighting and emotion come through very well. looks like you were RIGHT THERE when you took it!

very colorful and high contrast picture. considereing the lighting (no flash) good exposure. If I had one suggestion for imporvement: the focus is on his chest, not on his face/eyes. You probaly went with center-point focus? If you select a focus point that is in his face, well, you get his face in focus. brilliant logic, isn't it? :)
The contrast between the blue background the the skin tones works very well here.

Wow, you were either on the stage or far away. A difficult shot to get too. Great exposure, mike is far enough away from the face, DOF is fantastic. Very impressive!

Not a bad capture but nothing that really grabs my attention either. Maybe dropped a bit too tight.
