The play of the ripples of the water against the strata of the rocks running an opposing direction is effective. If you get the opportunity to revisit would it be possible to capture the whole of the curve of the bay in the frame? |

Truly clear (and sharp), but the missing curve on the left distracts. |

Delightful looking scenary, with really nice hills for a backdrop.
I think I might have lost some of the foreground on this. The picture has a nice background (hills), nice middle (lake), and a bit of a beach scene going on in the left, all of which is nice, while the immediate foreground is just scrubland really, so (in my opinion) tends to detract rather than add to the overall image.
That said - what a great looking place :- ) |

Looks like the lake gets deep pretty quick! Nice place to kick your feet up & relax. |

avg vote. Almost have an s curve :P Too tightly cropped for my liking and the grass in the bottom is unappealing (not sure if that is a road or a walk path.. the grey line). |

Ok, this is a decent shot. I've been staring at it for several minutes to try to decide what would make it a better one. Perhaps a landscape orientation instead of portrait? Maybe some sharpening? A bit less vignetting in the sky? It's a beautiful location so I don't think it's your subject. Actually I think what might improve it the most is just a better light (time of day). For me the watm horizontal light of the morning or afternoon just brings-out more drama. |

Lovely photo but maybe a landscape view would have looked better, it looks incomplete on the left hand side IMHO and a little to much sky. |

Nice curves. I don't know if I would have preferred a tighter crop on the bottom though.. good contrasting colors. |

not much happening here... technically ok, crop is quite tight, with landscape orientation you could have included the whole bay. overall not very interesting |

I like that way you captured the blue extending inward. -10 |

Nice composition. I wish the colours in the grasses in the front were a little more vibrant, I can see lots of yellows and red tones there that would have been nicer if they were pumped up a little. Over all though a lovely image. |

Very nice colors and a pleasant location. That said it isnt a real eyegrabber for me. It seems to be missing compared to the landscapes I rated higher. Mayeb just no real main focus. Good shot overall, just not wow. |

This image seems to lack a focus point. The sky without clouds lacks interest as does the less than blue water and unattractive scrub in the front. Perhaps if you cropped the top and bottom more and pumped up the selective colours of blues and neutral you'd have a 'popping' image. |
