 Trying 2 new things today, new Tamron 90mm lens and banmorn's b/w conversion.

Gorgeous purple granny bonnet. Taken at Nymet, a gorgeous local garden. Windy grey day today, can't wait to get up there in a couple of weeks for the Open Day (fundraising for SPCA) to get some more shots.

Since it's the last day of this challenge I'm doing 2 shots.

Love the DOF on this one. These Granny bonnets remind of columbines for some reason. Columbines don't seem to droop as dramatically as these. Wonderful detail in the petals.
