London Zoo tropical house - what a great location. No barriers between the visitors and the subjects.

London GTG X, so there maybe another one out there of these guys!

70-200 and 2x converter, shot handheld at 400mm. Full frame, save for a bit of cropping on the sides to take full advantage of 640px (why not 720 this month???).

Processed in Lightroom to add local contrast and get more contrast without losing the highlights. Export to Photoshop, where I made a light dodge to the iris of the monkey's eyes and added the vignette. Resized and sharpened through various sharpening settings.

I love the earthy color tones. And the white fur shows up very well. Love the DOF too.

These monkeys remind me of that little guy in the Gremlins movie, I dont remember his name. Anyway, really cute photo, and well executed.

Odd looking monkeys, I'll have to check back after the challenge and see what your notes on this picture say they are.

Great image! I love the color contrast of their fur against the tree. Not to mention the crisp expression on the fourground animal. Good luck in the challenge. 10

Heh - nice look you got from that guy. Shared photo outing, too, I gather, given I've seen one of these guys already. Looks to have been a good outing, too.
