Maybe the original print would show more detail but in this small version much of the detail in the dark area is lost. The color is good and the picture has a certain charm and feeling to it. Perhaps a little bit more cropping of the top and left side would help it. |

Tough lighting situation. The musicians seem to be "swallowed up" by the room - if that makes sense. Kind of lost. My favorite part of your image is the far right - the drummer and the lights on the cymbols. |

More light on the guy in the back would have helped here in my opinion, like the blood red tones though. |

Difficult lighting conditions in which to take photographs. The musicians seem a little distant - less carpet foreground may help to set a more intimate scene, or perhaps taking the photo with just a head of an audience member, or a glass on a table in the immediate foreground to add a greater sense of ambience. |

this looks like a tough place to shoot, seems like it is a little tilted to the right and a bit unbalanced. I would crop off some on the left
Oops, did I say right?

I love the colors. I feel that a close up of each of the musicians would be a bit more interesting -- they are too small on your photo to make out many details and I end up focusing on the lines of the ceiling and the patterns of the carpet. Looks like a great place to spend a frinday evening. :) |

Cool musician shot. I love the colors and the mood of the photo...but I feel it may have benefited from a tighter crop. My eye is drawn to the left where there is only wall, and I would like to see closer up on their instruments and faces. |

So many cool elements to this, the whole feel of it is interesting, from the overly dark reds to the garish carpet pattern, to the compressed feel at the edges (wide angle lens?). Lots to look at here. |

too spread out to me. Closer is better, maybe on one musicial. |

too tilted, too dark, too little detail. |

It's always difficult to achieve a great live music image. Perhaps a tripod and longer exposure would have helped. It's a shame the drummers face is so clear but the base player is almost invisible. |
