| Looking at this the 3rd time, I'm still taken by the clarity and interest of the book and glass. While if it were mine, I'd probably crop to close in on those focal points, it isn't mine, it's yours, and it is well done. Still an 8 |

| I find the edge of the lamp detracts from a really interesting shot. Perhaps if you had placed it close to the corner, rather than in front of his face... |

| Cropped too tightly on top. More of subject's facial expression would have provided better focal point of viewers' interest. |

| I like the idea of this shot , but personally I don't care for the placement of the light, the way it obstructs the mans face is distracting to me, as well as it being at a slant, just my opinion. |

| Pleasant and relaxing image, good idea and good lighting. Speaking of lighting, I'd move that lamp up a couple inches and this would be great. ;) |

| This picture has a nice feeling to it, but I think you could have a slightly better image with the lamp outside the frame - it's a bit distracting having the bright area at the top. |

| Great idea! I like the lighting, but not having the lamp partially in the frame. I think that moving the lamp just out of the frame (keeping the crop on the face) would have made a simpler and more effective image. 7 |

| I like the lighting, but a couple of composition items bug me. The light overhead looks like it's swinging right in the guy's face, and the photo looks like it's leaning. |

| The light at the top is a little distrating, you could crop just below it and get an "unkonwn" source of the light. Clear though. |
