Gorgeous butterfly. shame you cropped the top of it's wings, but the quality of the rest of the shot is so good you can be forgiven for that :- )

I'm personally not a fan of butterflies, but I don't hold it against the photos and how I score them. I like the color contrast of the butterfly and the flowers. I do wish the wing hadn't been cropped offf from the top though.

great colors and creamy bokeh ... wish it were framed in portrait orientation so the wings weren't cut off ... 7

Technically very nice but not exceptional. I think we see photos like this pretty routinely now and it takes something unusual to really stand-out from the crowd.

If you want to show the eyes, get closer. You want to show the butterfly, show the entire butterfly.
