 I wanted to title this "Letting God", as many Christians are aware of the phrase "Letting Go, and Letting God." Then I decided I didn't want to exclude those who are not familiar with the phrase. So I decided simple was best. Thanks for looking and I hope you like the photo.

I wish I had a bit more time to perfect the lighting in this one. My "model" didn't have much time available. I'm happy enough with the composition, but would have liked to experiment more with the lighting, especially to bring down the windows a bit and add a little more emphasis on the subject. This was the "happy medium" I chose, and I think it's okay. With the darkness in this photo, it's difficult to judge how monitor differences might affect the response.

The way you lit the subject here is just fabulous. The stained glass window in the background is beautiful. Great photo and Title.

**Critique Club**

Hi Judy -

The composition and lighting on your subject is good. Interesting take on the challenge.

Possible Improvements:
There seems to be a bit of noise, as the subject is not in sharp focus. It looks like your focus may have actually been on the window. I think it may have looked better with a shallower DOF with the window blurred more. The brightness of the window is just a little distracting.

I love the idea of the shot and the lighting. I think I'd like to see it at a wider angle, reducing the size of the woman in prayer, and possibly letting the stained glass windows occupy the majority of the frame.

Sorry, english is not my primary language. What did you mean with this photo? I can´t relate it with letting go. As I said, can be my bad undesrstood over the real mean of letting go.
