 I decided that I wanted a good score so I pimped out the colors. I hope I didn't break any rules. All I changed were some colors. Got the idea from looking at one of Judi's entries. I used my manual focus 100mm so no exposure info was stored.
I will either get a good score because people love their bright colors or a really bad score because it looks like crap. Either way I thank you for your comments.
pp:
rotate & crop and cloned in a sliver in the upper left corner.
dup layer, screen 100% merge. Dup layer two times. Bottom layer for the leaf, did a histogram adjustment to lighten it, then vp to warm it.
Middle layer for the blue, used psp film thingy to filter for blue. erase out leaf. normal mode.
Third layer for the yellow and red. vp colorize. vp wash the highlights. erase out the blue spot and some of the blue in the surrounding water. mode hard light(or maybe color) about 65%.
merge, vp for wash again, resize.
I've never done so many versions of one picture before. I saved the psp file for a more red one for verification if needed because I would never remember what I did.

The gold in this is amazing. I would imagine your score might be suffering just a bit from the softness of the leaf, but it is indeed a lovely photograph to me.

To me the leaf needs to be in better focus. The background is perfect for the shot.
