I see you received comments about the lighting, I for one didn't see any deficit- lovely horse portrait ! |

Nice focus. Maybe a tighter crop would help to make a more interesting composition. Maybe a little dark vignetting would help direct focus on the horse head. |

Very elegant horse - a little more light in it's eyes would have added a whole extra depth to this.
But a nice shot all the same. |

Lovely light falling to horse, how about in vertical format? |

Nice portrait, but needs more light in the eyes. |

Gentle image, not sure if it's intentional to create softness or you didn't use a tripod.
The horse looks a little 2D - would like to see it 'pop' from the background more. |

Very nice shot I would have cloned out that bright spot just below the horse and tried to crop out the tack in the lower left hand corner. Also if you have it, a flash set to just throw a catch light in the eye. |

Beautiful horse. I am losing the horse's left ear though to the background. I see it but I wish there were just a little more light there to give it some detail. Also rule of thirds I think would apply here, I wish his eye didn't fall dead center. I am unable to vote on this challenge, simply leaving comments, good luck. |

beautiful detailed portrait. the only thing distracting are the areas of shadow in the portait. May be bouncing some light from underneeth might bringthen up the portrait as well. |

Not a bad portrait, but doesn't necessarily capture anything special about this horse. The sidelighting is pretty, however. |

This just has a quick snapshot feel to it. A little more processing may have helped it out, but as is its just a so so image. |

What a stunning horse. My only complaint is that his eye looks a touch flat with no light reflection. What a beauty. |
