 was playing around with extension tubes and my 150 macro. had a few to choose from. cliche, I know.

shot in RAW. Opened in ACR, adjusting sharpness while there. slight crop for composition. noise ninja. layers for levels, curves. cloned out the catchlight from the flash, and a little bit of my hand in droplet. took care of a couple dust spots, too. USM at large radius. resize, then small dose of USM at small radius. add simple border. save for web. a little spot sharpen to flower in droplet.

Steve - Another excellent entry - i really like the warm colors and how the flower cuts at an angle across the top of the image and how the green mirrors it. Very solid!

This shot has been overdone, especially with flowers. Its a nice shot, but why not look at what others have done with these drop shots and make one that is unique?

Really nice shot. Love the colours, the composition, the DoF and the 'shot within a shot'.

I alos like the dynamic tension created by the little flower in the droplet being sharp and clear, while the big flower is beautifully blurred.

Nice photo, good detail on the smaller flower portion. Good DOF..was it done with gausian blur? Nice contrasting colors.
