 Went out with a friend to do a photo-shoot for practice. Played around with flash lighting, using umbrellas and other things. I took a lot of great pictures, but this one is my favorite. This shot was natural lighting, no flash used as my friend was taking photo's of the other model at the time. I probably have photo's from the shoot that are technically better, but I had to see how this shot would fare. I'm hoping for a 6+, but I'm not holding my breath.

POST CHALLENGE:

It was very apparent to me this time that the technical side of a photo matters WAY more on this site then the content and message of the photo. From now on when I submit stuff here I will be more careful to choose more technical based photos. We shall see if that will help get a 6+ score.

A new high for the ler! Yeah, one person made the same comment as I did to you earlier, there wasn't enough ambient from the left in this row of trees so her face is too dark.

Cute model, nice location. I think the addition of the leaf is unnecessary - I think the model looking at the camera may have worked better.

I like the composition and colors. Had there been a bit more light on her face/hair, I would have scored it higher.

Oh cute. I remember her from another shot. Great soft focus. I wish she were looking a bit more at the camera. Love the setup and the DOF.

Nice fall portrait, I love the glow on the yellow leaves. I think it would be nice if there were a little more light on her face but still a very pretty shot.
