 Using natural light, I simply covered the lens with my hand for a few seconds midway through the exposure. Conversion to B&W was done in Lightroom. Sharpening was done in CS3 with Unsharp Mask.

ETA: For those unaware of the TV reference, Hiro is a character on Heroes who is able to stop time or travel through it.

What a fun shot! Love the motion. I think a bit more contrast would have made this pop a bit more.

Kind of a flat and uninteresting shot overall. Motion blur is kind of cool, but this image just doesnt grab my attention, which isnt usually a good thing ina FS.

You got me to Google "Hiro", since I had no idea about the reference. Apparently a character on a TV show? (Note - I haven't watched TV in several years.) While this may be a good illustrative capture and have significance to those familiar with the show, I'm afraid it doesn't have much for those of us who are not.
