This is an underground tunnel leading to the railway station.

I'm at an opening at 5pm with natural light from above.

The end of the tunnel has the same natural light.

Along the walls on the left hand side are very yellow looking electric lights evenly spaced.

ISO 400 (accidently - GRIN!)

Fabulous shot. So much to look at and a great contrast between the solidity of the environment, the solid (though still slightly moving) silhouette of the man in the background and the fluid blurred "ghost" in the foreground.

This is a really neat effect you have captured. Because of the lighting conditions and your shutter speed you have captured a moody, dark feel to the tunnel ALONG with the 'ghostly' forms of the people walking by. This has a bit of a Hitchcock feel to it - seemingly normal situation/area with some surreal/out-of-the-ordinary/supernatural mood. The B&W tones in this composition are wonderfully dynamic.

Love the small blurred figure in the receding distance.

I love the mirror-like quality of the walls and roof the low light creates. A favorite quality of mine for dark, or near dark shots

Beautiful, Lisa. The combination of natural and artificial light sure gives this image a very moody feel, intensified by the running people.

I love the lighting that goes down the tunnel. Very moody atmosphere with tons of engery with the people running through the fame.

Wonderfully bizarre image. Are these people running toward you, or moving then stopping? Did you do this many times until you got one you liked? Did you do this with models or are these just passersby?

Very nice... natural environmental light is best used like this I think, to create drama.

cool effect, the crisp detail in the tunnel real sets off the motion.

Excellent start to the challenge. I like the contrast between the motion and the stationary person at the end of the tunnel.

What a stunning start to the challenge, exceptional use of light here. The movement is very artistic, yet the stationary figure at the end sets it off nicely. Fav.
