this shot was taken at about 10:00 in the morning. the morning light was pouring in through the windows of the spa room at my uncle's moutain house. the steam from the heat of the spa really exagerated the intensity of the light. i could've stayed in that spa and taken photos with that light forever. and, yes, i was in the spa with my camera :). it was a little tough because the lens kept fogging up but that added a neat effect as well, i think.

i took this with my new lens, peleng 8 mm fisheye... the lens doesnt have any automatic settings or focus so i kind of just wing it. there are a lot of things i could've done better with this shot but oh well. mistakes are what its all about for me :) here are some more taken in the same place/time.

i invite you to check out the full story slide show here. thank you so so much.

I think your uncles house just replaced my Nikon factory raid as the #1 thing on my Stuff To Steal list.

Favorite set from your trip: The low key TV shots, especially the first one, nice stuff.

I love the distortion, the mist, the roiling waters in the foreground... the whole series is great! This one is very cool, alien abduction comes to mind... :-)

Very cool light indeed. This feels like some sort of searchlight in a horror flick or something. Well done. How does the Peleng go?
