I gave this a 7. The word concept helped push me toward a less literal interpretation of technology. If they wanted a picture of just technology they would have asked ' Do a photograph of technology.' they would not have asked for a photograph that communicates the concept of technology. Underline concept.

yeah, technology. there's a whole goddamn ship under her and me that allows us to float about in the middle of the sea with no land in sight and take pictures. not to mention the digital camera that actually took the picture.
anyway, at least you could've tried harder so i could cherish my first brown. half-assed job. |

| I'm not really sure of the tie to technology but, if she was facing the other way, into the sun, you could have picked up some detail in her face instead of the back of her head and had a more interesting picture. |

erm... was this meant to be in the technology challenge? whereis the representation of technology in this?
Also, this is far too noisy. It could do with a dose of neat image and a lot of other work to make it halfway decent- the waves are out of focus, the sky looks dead and it all looks a little underexposed where it shouldn't be.
Did you shoot this with a camera phone? That's the only reasoning I can think of. |
