 this was taken in a rural school in lima peru. my dads organization is helping this school out giving it a brand new library and some computers

es un colegio nacional, tungasuca en realidad puse lafoto casi al ultimo estaba experimentando con algo de hdr... ah y si las fotos de casa son reconocibles, los peruanos somos unicos :)

I would class this as an `editorial portrait` so it kinda squeezes into this challenge.. a nice shot, with interesting post processing, but its not really exciting me..

Not much of a group portrait imo, rather a picture of a group. Many members of the 'group' are behind other members or cut of from the picture. The picture contains too many elements to look at and has no clear composition to lead the viewer's eye thruogh it. The use of DOF is nice though, and gives te picture some depth. (4)

Interesting group of kids I like that some noticed you and most didn't it tells a better story that way. The composition is nice and the colours warm. Good group shot.

Although there are at least three human beings in the shot and it, therefore, technically meets the Challenge specs, there doesn't appear to be any setup (on your part) unlike many other entries that clearly are set up and so are, in my mind, portraits. To me this seems more of a snapshot than a portrait. Cute faces, though.
