These fresh little wild flowers caught my attention among some soft fern like undergrowth.

This is my favorite out of your three shots. I like the varying colors of green in the background along with the hint of yellow. It seems this picture is a bit out of focus. I know sometimes my pictures will be out of focus if I am too close, even in macro mode.

Glad you could join this side challenge Townley. They're a lot of fun and a chance to try out different ideas and get immediate feed back on them.

Lovely colours in this shot. I like the way you have the daisies on one side.

I tend to take a lot of shots of the one thing ..... take one photo, then walk round and try a different angle (looking up or down on the subject, see if I can find a background that blends/contrasts, I'll take photos from all sides to see how the light affects the colours.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work throughout the month.

They are beautiful! No wonder they caught your attention!

My favorite flowers are the pastel purple ones. These are so lovely!

The colors are very pretty. But for some reason it looks like the focus didn't lock on this. There is no defined sharp area. You may have been a little too close. To compensate you may want to move back until you hear or see the focus lock. When seeing something like this you tend to want to get as close as possible to get the little details but the lens can only focus to a certain point. Just a helpful suggestion since I see you are new to your camera. :) It was a mistake I made for a little bit too and can be frustrating when you don't know why it's happening. I'm glad you joined this side challenge. It's loads of fun and there are great tips to be shared. :)
