Shot this from my car on the way back from the Post Office . This is an old garage around town. I noticed some crows hanging around the street and took a fast shot of one of them flying away. I know this is blurry, but I kinda like the effects. Hope it's not tooo blurry. Please tell me if you think it is unrecognizable! Does it need more contrast?

Thank you for the positive feedback. I think I was wondering if the image needed more middle tones. Also, I purposefully used the car as a slow panning, hoping against hope the bird would show up more clearly as I was focused on him. I like the creepy effects, too. Fitting of Halloween.

I'm trying new things this side challenge.

Nice use of b&w. I agree with the Halloween/horror comments -- this is spooky!

Contrast is nice, subject is recognizeable. I like the motion feel to the shot, really effective!

I htink the contrast is fine. Anymore, and some of the brighter spots are going to be completely blown without giving any more details to the dark areas. The blurriness gives it that "horror movie" feeling.

I LOVE this! Wonderful blur motion, love the pose of the crow with the extended legs and wings, love the b&w.

I like this picture and it is certainly recognizable. I think a boost in contrast would help the bird stand out more; it seems to blend in a little too much. Great capture and blur!

The blur adds to the overall motion effect. I think the contrast is fine.

i don't think it's unrecognizable at all! i personally would blow out the contrast (since the photo is so overly dramatic anyway), but that's my style.

This is fantastic. All us blur fiends will be drooling. It's so haunted and dream-like. The nightmare kind of dream...

I do agree that a few ticks of contrast will make the bird stand out more, but even so it's a great shot.

This is totally great blurry! It wouldn't be the same if it was sharp. Great background too. I've never seen so many crows until I moved here to Washington. They're interesting to watch.

I agree - the blurriness really suits this shot. I don't think it would be nearly as interesting to look at if it were in focus.

What makes this photo for me is the movement and that it is blurry. To have done it otherwise would not have made the same impact. Definitely caught my eye.
