(You know what's funny -- I think Mary was Day 2 the last time I did this sort of thing too.)

We are staying with my parents temporarily while we STILL wait for word on the house we originally attempted to buy in JUNE. (The legal mess in which it is involved was not helped when the lender holding the mortgage went bankrupt.) My parents are definitely not indoor-cat people. Our three cats are accustomed to being indoor/outdoor. At first they were OK with the change, but then Smoky (not featured here yet -- give me time) started coming in now and then, and Mary became increasingly upset about not being allowed indoors where Her People are.

So. Here she is on my bed, reveling in a brief relaxation of the rules. At least it's not flea season, right?

Not sure what I missed, but this is sweet. Look at those giant pupils!

I'm a cat/dog person & love your image...you have captured the "catness" of Mary- this is going to my favorites, my cat Max, died this summer & we miss him everyday- the personalities are so unique ! (hope you get the house )

Lovely expression. I'm always amazed at how "human" cats can be.

Mary sure looks like a sweet cat. I couldn't let my cats outside for fear they would get hurt. I like the relaxed feel of the picture.

What a pretty little girl, isn't it crazy how attached they get (not mentioning how they start to be like kids to us!!). Glad she gets to "bend" the rules now & then.
I wish you the best of luck with your house situation too, I could only imagine what a pain in the butt it can be!!

Awwwwww. . . .I hope they get back to their own Queen of the Roost status soon where they can lounge around on the beds any time they like.

I love her. She looks just like a Cat I used to have named Oreo.

Poor cat. :( I have a male that looks just like this. He's indoor, with brief forays into the back yard.. I can imagine what would happen if he couldn't come inside!

Oh, the poor kitties! I hope you get the house soon, so your cats (and you, of course) can settle in. I'm sure they are not amused by their current situation.

Great photo - beautiful detail.

Love your DOF. Such a cute kitty cat. Reminds me of one of my images of our cat, Sadie. Nice image.

Well, I liked your first one too. Cute haircut. :) But this is pretty darn great. Look at the clarity in her eye. Cats are so cool. I have both cats and dogs and it's a tough call, but I think I lean more towards a cat person. And yes, they can definitely get persnickety when they don't get their way. ;-D
