Well, Jeffrey.....I have a problem with the portrait definition as it applies here. It's a great different perspective shot, it's decidedly an unusual angle.....I'm just glad to see by your own admission that it's not a conventional portrait. |

You might want to remember this idea for the "perspective" shot. |

Really cool shot! I think it has much more feeling and better conveyance of mood than many shots above it. You were robbed :) |

LOL! The behive-esque pattern adds a great deal of interest to this allready interesting angle and moment. I'd like to see a bit more in the frame bu assume you cropped with a reason. Very beautiful image with a unique comp and content to peruse for a while. |

The perspective is a fresh one, and the honeycomb pattern serves as an interesting background. |

Not really striking me as a group portrait, more like a group candid, I wont say DNMC, but its bordering on that.. still, a good shot and interesting angle.. 6 |

Interesting viewpoint. Takes some getting used to, so you might not score high. I like the combination of the people and the pattern, but the blown out highlights aren't so nice (5) |

This is my favourite in this round. Great perspective from such a different angle for a portrait! |

Nice composition. The pattern on the floor makes me think of a bee hive which in turn makes me think of the people as the busy bees. Good shot! |

Truly great shot. Love the POV and the tiled floor really adds to this (shame about the 'seams' but what can you do. Very well cropped and I like the B&W conversion. One of -if not my favourites of the challenge 9 |

I like the tiles and the image guides me toward the adult as the primary subject. |

Very nice editing here - and I guess she does look better dodged - I'll have to compare with your other shot. Hopefully this is doing well - I really like this for the challenge alot! Yep, looks better (just compared). What did you do to reduce the whites so much? |
