After I looked at the thumbnail version I rotated this slightly to the right; now it seems to tilt the other way. :-/

EDIT: About the PP... basically I converted to b&w, increased the contrast until it was almost an abstract, then did very strong noise reduction (I think that gave the soft/dreamy quality someone referred to).

Here's the same view, cropped differently and without all the post-processing:

I like how the background has nice straight lines and then the foreground structure (water tower?) has curved lines. I think this picture looks superb in b&w.

I love this in b&w! Very dramatic, your processing makes one focus on the geometric shapes, which I love! I'm not sure, but maybe I wouldn't mind seeing a tad more detail in the tower, not as much as in the color version but a bit more than here...just babbling :-)

I definitely like this shot better. It has a lovely, ominous quality to it.

I actually like the color version better. Not sure if its because of the colors or clarity or both, but I feel the b&w version loses something. jmo.

I like the overall dreamy effect of your processing. Did you just add blur or something else?

I like the high contrast. Has a nice graphic, urban feel.

The editing gives it kind of an old fashioned look. Nice geometry in the shot. Love the diagonal line.

Not sure I like the processing. Slightly overdone. Hard to tell what exactly it is.

Whata way to turn something uninspiring into a stunning picture :) Love your processing.

I have tilt issues, too. Drives me nuts.

LOVE your processing on this photo. Great juxtaposition of the old, gritty water tower against the slick highrise. Nice soapy look to the BW - wonderful.

I always do that when photographing these types of buildings. I think it looks great, and I really like the way you processed it.
