 I am shamelessly violating the rules and re-using a picture from the 50-day challenge, taken on July 7th, because, drumroll please....

WE GOT THE HOUSE!!!

And yes, we JUST found out on the 5th of October.

This might not mean much to anyone who wasn't in the 50-day challenge (or, heck, to anyone but me) but we're very excited. Please forgive the rules violation. :) I couldn't go there to take another picture, as we didn't find out until after dark; I couldn't even find the original file (bad, bad me!) to do a fresh edit or anything.

Rachel!! WOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so happy for you! And under these circumstances, I am sure glad you shared the news with us and posted the picture -- repeat and all - and the story to get us ones who weren't in the 50-day thing up to speed. It is perfecty an awesome thing to do.

Now. . packing and moving. . .the fun part :)

THAT is the best news I've heard in a while!

Congratulations. I remember the story well, and was even telling my wife about it as we came across one of your pics last week. I wondered how things were going, so this is just wonderful!

This was a meaningful picture back in July, and it's even more meaningful today. You can stop trying to not get your hopes up now.

How long til we get a shot of the house now?
