Friday night at the Alvin Ailey Dance Studio. Occasionally they leave the blinds open on their ground floor rehearsal space.

The only way I could get a semi-sharp photo was to rest my camera on a wall outside, so my choice of angles was limited! Thought I'd try something different with the framing.

I like the framing; it certainly puts emphases on the dancers versus their surroundings. Neat point of view.

A great little peek. We get a nice sense of the energy.

Very nice shot - with the motion blur and the horizontal lines. I'm not so into the frame. To me it seems superfluous with so much going on in the photo already.

The movement really adds to the feel. I think the angle is fine, I like the bars going across, don't know why, just do.

This is excellent, Larry! I love the legs in motion, the dance barres breaking things up, the little glimpses of the band, and what a clever frame! Good stuff :-)

Oooooh. . .I love this! It doesn't need to be sharp at all. The blur adds motion and energy, while giving it a nice soft "moment captured" feel.

And your framing: WOW! WOW! How creative and COOL is THAT!!!!!!!
