East Broad Top Mikado #15. Taken during the 2007 Fall Spectacular. This was the shot I went there hoping to get, though I wish the tender wasn't overexposed (nothing I could do about it). I spent almost 12 hours there taking photos of #15 going up and down the line, the yard, the roundhouse, etc. The East Broad Top is an awesome railroad. The picture doesn't do justice to the magnitude of the engine breathing and running along the rail during the night. It was an awesome feeling. The lighting is ambient combined with another photographer running in front of the engine flashing an Alien B800 strobe on the engine and ground.
Editing includes cloning (power lines, pop bottle, etc.), curves, selective curves (vignette), channel mixer, selective color, slight rotation, crop, resize, unsharp mask
