 The outside of the old Brooks Atkinson theater on West 47th Street in Manhattan, late afternoon. The varying light sources were so eye-catching in person.

I cropped the image some and fiddled with various settings (clarify, color saturation, sharpness and USM). I experimented with layering the image and adding soft-focus to the background image, then selectively erasing the foreground, but I did it at such a low setting I don't think it changed much. I also dodged lightly around the window frames.

EDIT: Per comment about the red spot, that was the glow on the brick from the marquee below.

Here's another view of the sign taken a few minutes later from the other direction:

Very nice light on the wall. I love all the little details. New York has such great old buildings. Can't wait to go back there someday.

I like the lighting in the picture, so I can only imagine how it looks in person. I like the brown/yellow tones, but that red spot on lower left is crying for attention.
