Nice concept, but not a very appealing photo. This is a common dispute between husband and wife/ parent and child so most of us can relate it to the challenge theme, but the problem is the execution of your shot. It looks like a snapshot, with unappealing colors and lighting and needless clutter (the toys around the trash pail, the bag lining in the pail, the cat decorations in the background (although those are cute, they are distracting to the shot) and the splotches of dirt or whatever it is on the baseboard. The overall composition just doesn't work very well.

very amusing image, given the hatred for cat shots on DPC. Not aestheticaly grabbing though.

I think your idea would be better if we see the people pulling it, and we see their emotions, or contrast of emotions.
