Oh how well I can relate to this photo. I would have liked the greens a bit darker....but well done. |

What a lovely shot of the city. I think if the litle chap on the boat had been a bit further across the searching element would have been stronger and you'd have placed highr, maybe. What do I know? Not a lot. |

Much underestimated :( To me it's a ribbon picture. |

I like that the trees are shaper and more colorful that the fog covered city. Lucky you that the boater was there. Great pic! |

Ahhh the superimposition of a city!! I really like this concept. For me though more photoshop work to make the background more wispy. The entire city is all one foggy level and I have never seen that happen in person. However matched beautifully and as I said like the concept a great deal. |

Excellent contrast between "past and future" elements; I like how the treeline roughly lines up with the tops of the buildings to form a diagonal path through the picture. Faded nature of background works well ... going by the image on my monitor, I'd probably experiment with bringing a little more saturation (increase yellows?) into the trees. |

I enjoy the juxtaposition, the small private world and the large public urban expanse, the clear the the misty... Nice work. 8. |

The DPC size doesn't do any justice to it. I love the composition. The clash of the city in the background and the island (or whatever it is) is incredible. Perfect challenge theme interpretation. One of two 10's I gave. |

Great contrast between busy city that is faded out, and nature sanctuary that is in color. Great shot overall. |

Search seems over with, the boat should be on the other side and the title would make sense. |

Too bad the canoe was shot from so far away. |

I like the fogged city background very much, if you could have made the foreground pop more it would have really helped the image IMO, as it is it feels lacking in a main subject. |

What a beautiful photo!! I love the misty, soft background. What pretty pop that gives this! |
