 This textured wall is right above the door to my apartment, the light is mounted on a wall behind the stairs that are producing this beautiful pattern. The combination of the colors looks golden, thus the title.

I've taken photos of this wall a month ago. I was happy to see the new challenge posted because I thought the textured wall would be perfect for it, so I steped right out of my door, looked above me and took some new photos of the wall.

This is beautiful and intriguing because it's not obvious what it is. This image is all about light and shadow and shapes and I like that very much.

Nice photo. I think if the wall on the far left were more in focus (more DOF) the shot would be better.

The lighting is what makes this photo great. The only thing I don't like are the few blown out spots in the bottom right corner

Interesting photo and I like the color as well as the texture. Is this photo rotated so that it is upside down? I am trying to figure out the light source coming from the lower right corner.

excellently done. The fan of the light really aids the composition, whilst never detroying the impact of that texture. real movement of light through the frame too. Looks like a floor and rotated image to me (no bad thing). Good colour too, not overwhelming the central idea of the shot.

This wall is intriquing and keeps the viewer guessing. Good take on the challenge, but just a tad 'hot' in the lower right corner. Nevertheless, quite a good image.

great shot superb lighting and glow. think could have given it a 90CCW turn and re titled 'golden floor' and would have been slightly better composition with the bars being top right. 9 as it is.

Brillant lighting and abtract shot...my kinda thing. The texture is great in this shot highlighted and darked by natural light it really give the texture feeling. Good Job!

Not an unattractive shot and it does show texture. I do like the yellow/gold color but think the bottom lighting is too over exposed. [fried] Good luck in the challenge.
