No you did great! And I love it that Dallin has his grandmom at his game. What a blessing! I will love going to games -- although I have a feeling ours will be obsessed with baseball like the rest of us -- but having grandma come watch his games: Priceless!

The first thing I thought when I saw this was "pied piper", although I'm not sure why. I like how the children are giving the coach their attention. |

Hey Jerry,
Cool stuff, and these are tough shots especially with the lighting that you had. Actually very tough with the sky as bright as it was behind em.
I'm assuming that you handheld these and probably @ 300mm (from shot info you entered)?
Remember the rule of thumb for telephoto lenses...(usually true) when handholding your shutter speed should be 1/focal length. At 1/100sec; any movement on your part or the players would cause blur.
Don't be afraid to take that Rebel to ISO 800 (1600 if you must) it can handle it.
